Today, this design is recognized as the Grand Banks Heritage Series. Originally built of wood, construction was changed to fiberglass at a new factory in Singapore in 1973. With its walk-around decks, aft cockpit and roomy interior, the Grand Banks 46 Classic is one of the most desirable models that Grand Banks ever built.
Amati’s Grand Banks Cruiser kit features a cast resin hull with laser cut planking, wooden decks, metal, brass and resin fittings. Laser cut wooden cabin is complete with detailed interior. The finished model is as eye-catching as the real boat. And, just like the real boat, it’s made for cruising with the addition of radio control equipment.
